Your responsibilities
- Technical and operational management of the liquefaction facility in Burghaun (Fulda), including management of a small team
- Provision of support for the project management organisation and assistance with the commissioning of the liquefaction facility in addition to the establishment of the team.
- Ensuring compliance with legal provisions during operations and monitoring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Optimising operational processes and the operation of the facility as a whole
- Monitoring and optimisation of operating costs
- Order management as a means of ensuring smooth invoicing and accounting processes
Our expectations
- A passion for sustainable fuels that make it possible to meet climate targets
- Technical expertise gained by completing a professional technical education programme, an advanced training programme or a course of study
- Preferably some practical experience in the field of cryogenic gases and/or biogas/biomethane
- Initial management experience is a plus
- A hands-on mentality and exceptional team spirit

Three companies have combined their strengths and expertise into the REEFUELERY joint venture that will manufacture the completely renewable REEFUEL fuel: Alternoil GmbH, which is a subsidiary of the avanca corporation, an operator of filling stations and a pioneer in the transformation process for creating a clean heavy-duty transport sector; Erdgas Südwest GmbH, which is an energy service provider with extensive experience; and bmp greengas GmbH, which is a subsidiary of Erdgas Südwest and the leading distributor of biomethane in Europe.
The joint venture will build what is to be the world’s second-largest liquefaction facility for biofuels and synthetic fuels. The facility, which will be located in Burghaun and is scheduled to be completed in 2024, will produce 180 tonnes of REEFUEL every day – enough to operate 4,500 heavy-duty trucks in a climate-neutral manner. This will enable us to lower CO2 emissions by 550,000 tonnes per year and thus make a substantial contribution to climate protection.
